Welcome to the best place for FSJ's, except for the trail!

There has been a lot of discussion on this topic before. The best thing to do would be to do a search and then figure wich is the best for you. High back, Low back or Bench. They have all been discussed in the past.

I put in some high back buckets a friend gave me. I have no idea what they came out of. I had to do many mods to make then fit.

Any aftermarket seats for the CJ/YJ will fit with no mods AFAIK. The TJ seats will NOT fit. I've also heard that Ford seats (Mustang, Tempo) will fit almost directly. I'm in the middle of the same search myself, but it's no longer that big of an issue. My old Levi's seats are ripped and smell like cat pee.

Um, Mustang seats dont quite fit...

The sliders ALMOST bolted up to the frame, but th bolt holes were about a 1/4" off. We ended up welding the sliders from my old seats to the frame.

But I must say, 87 Mustang power seats are BEAUTIFUL seats, I love the knee/side bolsters! The best seats I've found for 4 wheeling, I dont move when the going gets rough!

Not sure what year it was but my seats came out of a chev Z34, all i did was remove the Z34 hardware and put my hardware back on them, had to play around with spacers on the back of them to raise it up some but they work great.
