88 360 into early 70s J series

Hello

I have a standar 1988 360, and I`m currently looking after a late 60s early seventies J series pickup. Will my 360 be a direct bolt on to any pickup within these years or do I have to change tranny? (the 360 is bone stock)

It will bolt into any rig that a 360 was in, However 70 was the first year the 360 was available in a J truck. You will need to change Flexplate/Flyweel and will have minor differences to contend with. All easily solved. ;)
