i am trying to decide if i want to purchase a newer truck or not... What is you gas mileage out of 360 with the 4V carbs?

mine is completely stock, besides the emissions all being ripped off, and the Edelbrock carb sitting there making the rest of the motor look like crap:D, what can i expect, i know i was getting a hair over 20 out of the j10 with highway driving only. what could i get out of the cherokee with the 600CFM?

Stock 13-15. Now 11-12. Mine was a DD, 48 miles a day. Now I ride a Honda GL500 that gets 50mpg, everyday, rain or shine, hot or cold. I saved $3500 just in fuel in 12 months.

look at the EPA sticker on the new full-size trucks, yep, about 15 MPG in town. And all that after 30 years of technology. Then factor in the payment with the full coverage insurance if you finance it.

i am getting 14-15 mpg out of my 99 expo, but i doubt it will last this winter, it already has a 218,000 miles on it. It all depends on if i can pass the welding tests at work tomorrow. i will be making 15.9_ an hour... im only making 11.43 now, that will help me out on my decision.

the main thing that i am concirned about now is the reliability of the jeep, to me the money spent on a newer truck is worth it. i found a 99 f150 with a 101000 miles, it is clean, they want 10k for it... the payments would be around 203.00. so it depends on how much insurance would be... 18 years old, full coverage, ummmmmmmmm:banghead:, the good thing is that i have no tickets or wrecks.
