Wow, guess I won't be needin' these when the time comes to throw my 66 together.

Awesome work Zack!

Woohoo! I was getting worried about what I was gonna have to do regarding my Chero's flares. Now...notsomuch. :)

will the rear flares have the flat part that will "slide" into the body so you can adhere it to the steel?

Awesome. Will there be a complete "kit" available at a lesser price? ;) ;)

Also...what are the odds of a one piece front clip, rather than piecing everything together?

Cool, any plans to do the Sportside rear fenders? :D

Right now, the fender flares will just be copies of the NOS steel flares I have, which is the outer portion. I can make them with extra material inside to make them easier to install.
There will probably be a kit at some point. I could do a one piece front end with a fiberglass hood if people are interested. The only pieces I'm not doing right now are inner fenders and radiator core support.
I could do Sportside rear fenders, but I would need some good originals to start with.
Thank you all,
Zack

I'll be more than happy to offer my truck as a test mule.

Any plans to produce a fiberglass frame as mine is getting pretty rusty. :p

I'll offer my fenders if you really need a set. They're in decent shape plus I always wanted a regular bed on my truck.

i may not be the brightest light bulb in the ceiling, but i do not think that the fiberglass will hold up under that condition...

I'd be up for a one piece front clip for my 67, she took a front hit from a PO at some point. The valance is OK, but both fenders need to be replaced, so I figure if all three parts come together as one it will make for a better finished product.

If that's not in the works for more than a year, hook me up with both fenders. (I'll make my Valance work, it's not bad at all really)

Lower corners? is that the part of the flair that sits just behind the bumper corners?? Is that part of the deal with the fender order? Or will I need to order them seperate?
Got any promo pics?

How about a set of "bolt on" flares for us narrow track owners. Sort of like Bushwackers, only custom fit for a Grand Wagoneers? I'd love to add the wide track look to my GW.

The bottom corners of the front fenders are seperate on the originals, but will be one piece on the fiberglass fenders. The lower corners are for someone with a metal fender with a rusted or dented lower corner that wants to replace it with glass.

John,
We could do something like that. Wouldn't take much of a change. I am already working on (but didn't list) just the flare portion of the front fenders to either repair rusted W/T fenders or make N/T into wide trac.

How about... a ram air hood for my 455? ;)
Actually, still have that extra BOP/Caddy bell to NV4500 adaptor plate? Or maybe the dimensions/blueprint if you are willing to share them?

Or even some "exaggerted" flares for those who want to run larger tires but with a stock look.

There is already a company making hoods, and I think one of them is a cowl hood. Can't remember the name right now.

I do still have the plate and the plans. Shoot me a PM. I can make one for you.

We can make about anything as long as we have a good original, but we can't just make one of everything. If the fenders and flares start selling, then we can look at making other products. I hope to have the first fenders in the next 2 weeks. Thanks,

Zack

i was thinking...

since my rear q-panels are starting to mysteriously disappear, and the rear flares are long gone, and since you have a chero already, to you think that it would be possible to make the rear q-panels, and flares assembled already?

At some point I am going to turn either my Chero or a J10 into a prerunner. I was wandering if you would be able to build some custom bulged fiberglass fenders for me, front and rear and a hood to match? If it is possible I will have to get with you later and see what can be done.

The parts should be ready in about 2 weeks. I'm starting to take pre-orders for those interested. I can do things like one piece front ends with hoods and bulged fenders down the road. I can also do a light weight 'race' version.
I have quarter panels with wide trac flares on them that are on the list to do. Like I said, the fenders have to start selling first...

Price me a set of front fenders, complete widetrack trim, with shipping to Seattle 98133 please?? These will fit a '67 J3000 right?

I'll get my order in as soon as I have the cash. :banghead:

I can take lots of pics and do a complete write up of the install for folks to get a good look at the fit and finish etc. Might even help sell a few for those on the fence.

My last fender job pics on my 05 TJ made it onto the manufacturers product page. (T&T customs)

Steel repros exist of those. And as much as I'm hankerin for a set of fiberglass W/T fenders, I can't imagine a fiberglass tailgate would hold up well.

Only wide trac front fenders. The taiwan steel repops are still available for the narrow trac versions.
