I read an article in Motor Trend, and they call it a scam. Increased o-60 on a suburban by .1, but reduced fuel economy by 1 mpg. So basically, a waste of money.
i have been seeing that thing on the tv soo much, esp on daytime tv(was sick the past few days) was convincing...

Consumer Reports performed a mini test a year or so ago. Said is decreased power and mileage in test machines.

do like my dad and his old hotrod buddies used to> place a piece of screen between the carb and intake!!! it helps to atomize the gas for better dispertion :D

Yeah! The infomercial looks great. Bottom line anything that stops the smooth airflow into/through the induction system is bad. If you look at the stuff from the companys that have been around fuel systems (holly, K&N etc) their stuff is to straighten flow into the carb.

I have to agree with reddog on this one, anything that restricts smooth airflow to the carb is probably bad. Although, I sold them for a while and never took one back but I didn't have any repete customers or two tornado families either. :D Bottom line is...looks good on paper, but who's driving paper!!
