Good one from parts store

Well I leave Wednesday to pick up a 82 Cherokee with a bad tranny. So I went to the part store today to get a tranny pan gasket and filter and oils, through I would change the everything there to see how bad it was. Well at the store the guy pulled up the screen for a 82 Cherokee 360 w/auto and said I needed this Dodge filter and went on to say I needed this type of oil ?????? Dex/Merc ATF:confused:. I told the guy I needed something for a Chry. 727 and he looked it up and it said to use a ATF+4 fluid. BINGO:thumbsup:

The last time I went in to get a tranny filter, I told the clerk I needed a filter for a TH400 and by golly, the clerk didn't ask me year, make and model!! 1 minute later, I had my gasket and filter set. I go to this store whenever I can, now.

the only place like that is a place that i just found out about. he is the only one that carries heater ducting for heater vents. i took the old one is, showed it to him, asked him if he had anything that would work, he took it, walked to the far wall, picked up the box, i asked him how much, he said 6.99. i said sweet, i will be back next week.

this friday i will go in there and get a new duct's so this weekend i can get my dash back together... finally...:rolleyes:
