well, the borg qt hasn't work sinced we bought the chero. as i am a virgin with this, i hope you don't mind a couple of questions ...
here's what we found. the vac lines at the firewall had been disconnected. after jointing the front prop and being under the beastie, we found the vac lines disconnected at the transfer case as well.
well, we hooked the the rear lines and the front lines to see what would happen even though we didn't know which line goes where. We fired the Chero up and switched to EM drive and nothing happened. When we switched back to Normal Mode, the EM dash light flashed momentarily. We did that a few times to make sure. So having the EM light come on turning to NORM told me we had the lines backwards. We switched lines and now the EM light flashes going to EM mode. We figure the light should stay on when in EM mode, but it doesn't. And now we 'hear' the vacuum going thru the EM switch as we turn it.
My questions are ...
Does this sound like the Rear Vacuum Servo has died and isn't holding vacuum?
I'm used to my Bronco with manual locks out and the T-Case Shift lever. I know when i'm in gear with that.
On the Chero, how different is 4x4 drive action when EM is engaged? Is it really noticable like the Bronc's 4-HI and 4-LO?
thanks, in advance....

PS, while digging through the rear storage area, my son found the original Factory Jeep Trailer wiring harness and instructions. I didn't pay any attention, but the Chero does have the Jeep Factory Tow Package. The harness has never been used! Still the plastic package. Complete with a flasher unit. If anyone wants a schematic of this, let me know. I'll put it up.
