I need a reference measurement to try and figure out how much the PO lifted the front of my Jeep. The distance from the ground to the front pivot bolt (frame mounted shackel bolt) is 19 3/4" on my rig. The rear pivot bolt is 25 1/8 inch from the floor. Again this is the frame mounted shackle bolt. These measurements are with 31x10.5 tires. It appears that the PO lifted the rear about 3" and the front maybe 2-3". If anyone could measure their front fixed shackle bolt height (the rear would be nice too), I would appreciate it. Also, I would need the tire size to be able to make an approximate comparison.
The lift spring on this rig are ancient, probably installed by original owner. The springs are sagging on the pumpkin side, particularly on the front. Anyway, I am thinking of going back to stock height or maybe just one inch over. But would like to how much lift I have now. Any measurements I could use as a reference would be appreciated. Just need some ballpark numbers.
