Guys,
I've got a 1976 2-door Cherokee with a Dana 20 T-case, locking hubs on the front and passenger side drop. Is there anything special about this drivetrain that makes it more valuable than another? I'm not an expert on the 4WD side of these rigs.
No that's the standard equip model. Optional running gear would have been the TH400 AT and BW Quadratrac x-case.
Value...?
To "me" it would be more valuable somewhat anyway cause of the D20 x-case and the T18A trans(I'm not an "auto anything" fan). Prolly in a 'collectors' view...no.

It is worth a little more because of the D20, what tranny it has will tell the story even better. According to my FSM it will be either a 3 or 4 spd manual the 4 spd being a T18a which is a good find. According to the fsm The D20 was not available with the automatic. It could however be a special order truck or a transplant.
Actually the truck has no value at all so you should let me come and take it from your yard cuz your neighbors think it is ugly :D :D :D :D

Bob, your neighbors called and told me you had TOO many Jeeps now. And for me to just take this one home so as not to clutter up your neighborhood anymore.

Its got a 3 speed manual. I think its the T15? It also has an Advance Adapters kit in it for a Chevy 350. I just pulled the Chevy 350 motor to put in my GMC pickup truck because the Jeep is too ugly. The passenger side is kinda banged up, but it drove like a bat out of h*ll. If you want it keep an eye out for Ebay in the next few days. It is ready for a Chevy small block to be dropped back in complete with flywheel and Advance Adapter motor mounts.
