Lock out! Big Oh No!

There is a lockout knob in the glove box on my '75 Cherokee w/Qudratrac. The glovebox lid says only lockout if you spin. The glovebox lining, where it told you which way was locked or unlocked, is gone. How do I tell which way that knob should be turned?Thanks in advance.

to the right is Normal and to the left is E Drive ;)
