I've had these vent shades.....

for a while to put on my Wag, but how do I mount them? I got them in a pull your own part yard over a year ago, but I can't remember how they go, or what size/style screws go in them. Can someone post some pics for me please? I'd hate to install a leak, or run a longer screw in and not be able to open my doors.

Mine came with small sheet metal screws, the self tapping kind. My guess would be they were a #8 about 5/16 long. Drill very small holes where they go then turn them in.

You can go about 1/2 long until you start running into stuff.

Ok. Where do the screws run exactly? Looking at the holes in these, it looks like the point towards the back of the stainless trim around the door frame. I'm not severely retarded, just a touch, but I want to do this one time without any turette type outbrakes.

how about double sided trim tape/adhesive if you dont want to drill holes?
