Well, I got LOTS done to my rig this weekend.

- Sanded & painted rims
- Wire wheeled and painted rear drive line, and inside/outside of both dif covers.
- Replaced broken u-joint
- And best of all, put on new Eedelbrock Performer Intake (without EGR) and Performer 600cfm Carburetor

All went well for the intake/carb conversion. My trucks runs MUCH better. And I love not having EGR anymore. I have a very noticable differance in power. on some of the steep hills here where I used to have to use 1/2 throttle, I now only use about 1/4 throttle. I was also surprised at how clean the inside of my lifter valley was. Only one tiny peice of carbon build up. So with just under 160k on the motor, I was quite surprised. this week will be the test for gas milage. I still have to fine tune the carb, because i havent driven it enough to see if I am running lean or rich.

I will let you guys know how gas milage comes out. if any of you have any questions, just let me know.

Edelbrocks are usually pretty rich right out of the box. It's a really easy carb to tune though and I think you'll be pretty happy with it. If you do alot of offroad stuff get the offroad kit for it and lower the float level as far as possible and it should do decent for a 4v offroad.
