i am thinking of letting go of my 77 chero..... i dont want to but the city is either telling me ot get rid of it, or get it tagged. i do not have the extra cash for the insurance and tags.

that and i am wanting to get a new car for the realibility issue.

i honestly do not know where to start. would ebay be a good place to sell it? or someplace else be better?

I'd start here. Pics and some real info of what it is would be a start.
Craigslist is free as well..
Ebay if you think it is worth it.Lots of exposure for sure.

Sucks you are parting with it but I know your pain. Been there, lost a good Jeep in that situation myself..

i am torn between that or the j10:banghead: , i will get some pics up early tomorrow after noon,

i got the cherokee for free, and the j10 i paid 300 for... either way i know each one will for that.

the j10 needs a little more work to get it how i want it to look tho... i have to get rid of a couple of my "projects" so i could afford a new, more realiable car.

Both are sweet rides. That must be a tough choice.

since i have bought the j10 in february, i have had to replace one piston, and the wiring harness...

my fuel pump came loose on the block which leaned it out when i was heading up a hill and did not notice a power loss....:banghead:

then on the harness i have been fighting electrical gremilins. i finally got tired of it and i have a harness from a 79 that i am about to put in, thank you jaber.

now on the cherokee, i have had it for about 2 years. all that i have done ot it is rebuilt the front suspension, replaced sring bushings. and flushed the tranny and cooler about 3 times, and it is still dark red:banghead: . the PO said that it would drive for about 10 mins, then just stop moving no matter how much gas you gave it.

as far as rusk, the cherokee is in better condition. i thought about parting out the j10 becuase there is several parts off of it that i would like on the cherokee.:banghead: :(
