Hell All,
Any ideas what might be causing my Chief to vibrate at highway speeds?
The drivetrain is completely stock and I've had the wheels spin balanced.
Thanks,
John
P.S. - I hope you all are having better weather than here! Rain, more rain, still more rain!! :(

Start with the U-joints on the drivehshafts and the CV joint on the front DS. Grab them and see if the joints feel loose.

In addition to the above, check the wheel bearings. Also, check to see that the wheel weights are on each wheel. Sometimes a wheel weight will fall off.
If this is an old problem, you may want to take a close look at the frame as a bent frame can cause a shimmy (vibration) at freeway speeds. Usually a shimmy only occurs at one particular speed and goes away at higher and lower speeds.

Is it possible or likely that worn leaf springs have anything to do with it? I see a lot of talk here about that and it sure is riding rough.
