I have located a new set of door lock cylinders (which assume are for the front doors) from a link someone put on here the other day-www.rockauto.com.

My question is this: is the rear window the exact same as in the door, and how would I go about getting one key to match the drivers, passengers and rear window?

If you buy uncoded cylinders you can file down the pins to match the existing key...sometimes you can take a coded cylinder and recode it too (though it will be less secure). You'll see what I mean when you get it. Dunno about the rear glass key...think it should be the same, but I'm not 100%

I took mine to a locksmith and he keyed everything to the same key. It sure is nice having one key now instead of five.

I'd go with the recommendation of 64... have done that in the past as well, very nice to have working keys. BTW, you can also do this if ex-GF won't give you back the keys!

I forgot to mention the locksmith had 3 original Jeep key blanks too. And he only charged me $1.25 each for them.

When I had my '65, I had one original key... one side said Jeep, the other said Briggs and Stratton... kinda weird. Even had the key code on it!
