These shocks were listed for my 75 J10 at eshocks.com.

So I ordered a pair. Thanks to the original poster for this great deal.

I'm assuming these are for stock height trucks? If so can they handle a 2-4" lift?

Before I pull the trigger on purchasing these I want to make sure that the ones we are talking about are the ones listed for the 1984-94 wagoneers. Right? Part number 33408 and 34408? It sure looks like these are the part numbers listed on eshock http://www.eshocks.com/bil_Ind.asp?VC=58Q15&SubChar=Q&Spec= (http://www.eshocks.com/bil_Ind.asp?VC=58Q15&SubChar=Q&Spec)=

I have always heard the Edelbrocks rode great and considering the crappy way the cheap ones I have now ride, anything would be better.

Summit and Jegs both list them as FSJ front shocks. Are the rears
different and does anyone know if they can handle a 2 1/2" lift?

So what is the deal with the Edelbrock shocks? I just searched a bit and they have a few people claiming they ride awesome and a few saying they ride average.

Are these good shocks for a mostly street DD?

Well, I bought them, and put the 33408's on the front and they fit fine. I have about 2" of lift. As far as ride, they are definitely better than the crappy gabrials that I had on before. I am guessing when I get the 33408's on the back the ride willbe even better. I think with the sale price and free shipping, these are a pretty good deal.

My guess is the ones I bouht would still be good on up to 3" of lift. After that, I think that the web page had some others listed for jeeps with lift.

Post again when you install the rear shocks, I'd like to know what you think of them with a lift. For instance, do they stop the springs from reaching full drop?

FYI - they don't take Discover or Amex on the website for ordering, but they're valid drop downs on the site...I had to call in to figure that out, just kept getting an error message saying to call my credit card company...
