hey all just bought my first fsj an 86 gw in pretty good shape. gotta go to ohio to pick it up in a few weeks want to build it up to replace my 2007 unlimited rubicon tired of payments and no better mpg with a 21 year newer jeep.
my to do list:sbc 350 with tbi
700r4 auto
atlas 2 t-case with cable shifter
f&r detroit lockers with 4.56:1 gears
bj's 6" lift and 35's plus the usual trail gear

Well if you come close to Akron or Cleveland on your way to picking that up, give me a holler and we can meet for lunch, or if you need a hand along the way.
I'm in between Louisville,KY and Cincinnati, Ohio.
If you need help or a place to pull in and sleep off the road I have a big private backyard you can pull into. I'm 6 miles from the KY Speedway.

i got infected with the jeep syndrome years ago lol
just empty every pocket.:D
its by dayton and im goin to tow it back but thanks for the offers. mostly needs gase gage work, drivers window inop., headliner sag, and exhaust leak at the air injection. and the other usual things these monsters need after 20+ years. i think itll look killer with 6 in lift 35s and some centerline style rims:fsj: :thumbsup:
