HEY!!! GUESS WHAT?
I won top 60 - Best of the Best 2008 at the Automobiles of the World car show in Warwick Rhode Island this weekend!!!!
I'll be on the Cruisin New England website and I get a cool jacket!!!
I'm so excited!!!! This is the first time I've ever won anything like this!
I got the call at work and told a few people and they all said basically the same thing which was, "With what? The Jeep??" They don't understand, poor things. ;)
I am just thrilled to death!:p

It was a blast!
Everyone that came up said, "Oh yeah, I remember these!" It brought a lot of smiles! I even got a few "Cool" remarks from some kids!
Most laughed when they said my sticker on the window:

"This is NOT my husband's vehicle!"

We had some rain but it was still a great great time! The best was putting the tailgate down and munching clam cakes and chowder in the back with my husband while everyone else got rained on!

I will revive the thread when I get the jacket, promise!
I really had no idea it would be so much fun to have a ride like this! It can be explained.
Anyone can throw money at something brand spankin new and that's wonderful- but when you resurrect a car that someone loved enough to buy years ago...well, that is an entirely different feeling. I'm so glad she didn't end up a tuna can!

Way to go, Bev! I don't know that show and it's not that far from where I am. I'll keep an eye on the Cruisin' N.E. site. Your truck really turned out fabulous!

With a truck that nice and you're surprised the phone rang? I'd have been expecting the phone to ring off the hook. Congratulations on a well deserved reward.
