Well, my son and I took the pickup to the local thrashing spot today along with a couple friends in their Blazer. Had a blast, but discovered the jeep nedds a few things taken care of.
Seems there is a fuel dilivery problem, probably due to the excessive heat buildup under the hood, probably caused by poor ignition system/settings. Vapor lock?
I am going to install my HEI style dist. then install an electric fan and a good schroud. If that doesn't do away with the heat problem then maybe some louvers in the hood also.
Going to relocate my fuel tank to the bed and put an electric pusher type pump.

but if you guys see what has been done to this truck you would cry or want to kill me. (besides, I forgot the camera.:banghead: )Hopefully the next time I'll remember it.
Oh well, you're never really "done" with a jeep anyhow, even if you think you are.:D
