I just got new shocks from 4 wheel parts wholesalers here in Denver. I wanted to get Pro Comp MX6s but they didn't have them in stock for my application so I settled for the Pro Comp ES 3000s. I painted them blue with white dust boots to match the rest of the undercarrage. Only $140 for all 4 shocks and the rear ones are longer than any shock I've ever seen! I didn't relocate the shock mounts after RBs shackle flippers. I was just courious what everybody that has run ES3000s thinks of them. Since they didn't have the adjustable MX6s I told the guy behind the counter that I wanted the cushiest shocks they had in stock that would fit. I didn't want to order em because I need them for this weekend. Hopefully the Thing will be rolling this weekend! :D :D :D

EDIT>>>>I accidentally called them E"X" 3000s, cause I'm dumb tongue.gif

Sweet!

I just installed some NAPA $20 gas-charged shocks on my 82. That definitely helped out the ride over the Gabriel Red Ryders that were on there smile.gif

I've used the 3000's before on my work trucks and like them alright. They seemed to last as long as the stockers and Ranchos I've tried. For the price they are a good deal.

I currently have them on my Waggy but haven't put any real miles to see how they work on a lighter vehicle.
