Need a measurement

Working on my core support so as to fit the newer FSJ rad. into the opening. Could someone give me the inside length measurement (actual opening) where the radiator bolts to?

Left to Right for the radiator bolts: 30", the actual opening from Left to Right mounting frame is 29".

the valence is cut off a bit: 1" so the radiator is forward of the notched valence.

Workin on my 715. The original opening was just not enough with the V8 swap so I trimmed out the opening in the core support to fit a radiator equal to a J truck. Thanks for the measurements. Mine is still a little smaller than that now. How wide is your radiator, is it a very tight fit?

Radiator is 27.5" wide. I still have the OE round top tank on the 85 Gwag project.

But on the 74 I have one of those 1800 radiator replacement w the square tank, and it is 26" 1/4 wide -width is even top to bottom, while the OE tank is larger than the core- the opening mount is the same at 29", the bolt spacing is 30" 1/4. the bolt spacing does not matter as the radiator brackets have are not round and accommodate for those variations.
