If your Dad can help you hook it up, great. They are one of the most user unfriendly carbs I've ever been around. The phenelic body is prone to leaks too. J20

When set up properly they are a great carb, that said I have to agree with J20 on the pita factor. Good luck

yup, thermoquad is great when its working right ( i guess you could say that for anything ) but Mopar Muscle magazine has on several occassions made more horspower and torque on an engine dyno with the thermoquad than any other carb

Good luck getting the Thermoquad working right and once you do the bowl will crack and then fuel will dump into the intake esp when sitting for a few days. I had one of these on my motorhome and while it worked well for a while the bowl cracked. Intermational tried these for a few years and had a horrific warrenty problem so they went back to Holleys. It was a good idea, just a very poor execution which IMO ( I know, some of you have had good luck with the carters, but I have had many different kinds of carters over the years and just do not like them)is typical of carter carbs in general and why they went bankrupt.
