Why would I have a Selectrac switch in my glove box when I have a T18a and D20?

My guess is you don't have a "selectrac" switch in your glove box. Could it be the "emergency drive" switch for a Quadratrac? Could be you have a T18a and Dana20 swapped into a Quadratrac truck.

VIN Decoding shows 4spd manual. Yeah its an emergency drive for a Quadratrac, not a selectrac.

Someone may have replaced the original deteriorated cardboard glovebox with one from a QT-equipped truck.

Either that, or a drunk employee at the Toledo plant installed a QT glovebox in your 4-spd truck! (the more likely scenario, actually)

True I can see that hapening at the plant... if someone needs one I have it.. I just will have to get a new glovebox piece.
