Took off to the river for a couple days and nites. Heat and smoke made us leave early. Near Virginia City,Nv. Here is link, can only post one pic. http://s79.photobucket.com/albums/j141/360amc/

The V&T railroad used to run thru this canyon in like 1860's a small RR(the old RR bed near our camp) took ore to a mill in Dayton. The main V&T line was up above the river bringing ore to different mill's along the river, all the way back to Carson City. I love the old B&W pics of those mills in a library book that you cannot check out you have to read it there. This place was busy 150 years ago.
The fish are small but fun to catch! Too much smoke from Forest fires though for the last several weeks! Keeps the temp high, like 105 the day we came home. HEI rocks for goin slow carrying all the stuff over rocks. My engine and tranny are snug thanks litlmeck, the roof rack rocks thanks Kwikrat, and my round lites look great thanks Millerluck(i even aimed them recently) When i am out exploring with the family i am very thankful for this board!!! The tech pays off!!!Good folks too!!!

Is there anything more at home than an FSJ in the camp?

I'm so jealous, we went looking for water and the tranny was slipping to bad to continue on. Looks like a beautiful spot.
