I need most of the interior parts for my 74 cherokee. There is a guy I know that has a mostly there 74 Kee minus the 401. He has been asking 500, but I bought mine running and drove it on the trailer for 600. What would be a fair price? I'm thinking 200.

A good haggle is always fun, give it a shot.
AZ has lots of + & - points to it.
+ = lots of rigs with less than average rust (not counting mine).
- = the sun cooked most of our interiors pretty well over the last 35 years.

Keep in mind you can buy new reproduction interior pieces (see vendor section) if you are really going to go the full mile inside.

plus all the FSJ owners in AZ tend to be a little attached to their jeeps...i would counter with a lower offer and see how he reacts....just remember to practice that barter face before you commence negotiations

Figure out what he would get at the scrap yard..if they had to tow it in. use that as your starting point.

Except for Dashboards and lots of little nobs and hard parts you can make or buy new almost anything you need to finish an interior, unless you want completely stock.

We also don't know if you have the 17 "S" version. There's a little more to those interiors than a plain Jane model 16.

the guy says its a cherokee trail blazer. It is yellow with a black top and a black stripe down the entire side. No grille or lights of any kind on front, no bumper and no 401. I think 200 is reasonable.

Welcome.....If I haven't said it before...

Sounds like the perfect candidate for a trail rig.

I personally would not pay more then $200 for it. Start listing the things you'd need to do to it to the guy and tell him you'd offer scrape price of $150. If he says no, leave your # and tell him to call when he gets sick of looking at it.
