Sandblasting. I get a big kick out of doing this which is good, since I'm beyond anxious to get this done/painted and installed on Tequilla.

We've got a good sized compressor, but this sandblaster is taking a toll on it. Hopefully I can get this finished tomorrow.

Oh man...I know how hard that is to do...with that setup...
Good luck...
I've had some buddies that over did it, and had warped the sheetmetal...
It'll pay off...

Those foam ear inserts are the best. I worked for a Co. that sand blasted the finish off log homes with ground up corn cob. The crap gets everywhere. I carried 3 bags to a job site 4 years ago, and I'm STILL finding cob in the back of the Cherk....

That looks like a lot of work in this heat.:D It's sure to stick to you real good. I can mail you those inside panels for the back of the bed if you shoot me your mailing address Janie.

I got a lil work done around here, wire brushed the Sportside and OR Thriftside beds then treated them with Picklex-20 to hold them till I can get around to working 'em over good.

Lots of work there. I have blasted several hundred pounds of sand in the past. I would like to pass on some caution about using some better protection particuarly respiratory. Silica in the lungs is a bad thing! I use the best I can get. Best of luck as nasty of a job as it is, it can be fun.

Thank you and I agree. I used the el cheapo respiratory masks we had here and it was not enough.

Bryan, those are my board shorts and I'll try to dim the color down next time.:D ;)

Elliott, don't mail those. Whether you want to or not, your coming here to help us install this bed so you can bring them along then.:)

Erik, the blasting is still ongoing so yup, it takes awhile.

Flint, that shed is 10x8 and filled with QT parts. Still want it?:D
