Well some local has a mid to late 70 cherokee. Its baby blue, with looks like 20in. chrome rims. What the hell!:banghead: Its a shame for a jeep to not be used for what it was made for. In may opinion. So what do yall think. or thrumbs down.

Their Jeep, their choice. Different strokes for different folks...
Ryan from BJs Off Road has an '88 GW rollin on 20s.

but is it really rolling or still on jack stands?

Ryan doesn't share much about that project...

a grand wagoneer can get away with it many more times than a cherokee, i mean those are just wood grain station wagons :D .

Don't get me wrong it is a sharp FSJ. But not my slice of pie.

as long as the chrome 20" rims have some 38inch boggers on them I'm Ok with it. Dont know if you can get 20" wagon wheels.

Ahem......22's ;)

Sure, sure.....but then again, if you read JJ mag, you'd know everything about it :) I had it running and have been working out the kinks (a few wiring issues that I think I've nailed down), and found that the motor had quite a few bad bearings. I've since yanked the motor and am about to start a cool build. I've also converted the front to a 2wd axle and am making a few other changes.

For those that don't like FSJ's on pimp rims, that's cool. I figure as long as the person that owns it likes it, that's what counts. I can justify my pimp-rig on 22's since I also have a Chero on 35's and a J10 that I'm building into a trail rig w/ 38.5's.

If you can get pics of the Chero, please post them......

Good call... although I'd probably do "speedster bumps" behind the seats.

This photochop is haunting me... I'm having really bad thoughts about a custom tube chassis with double A arm independent suspension, a new LS7 engine backed by a six speed...

"Krek Orange"? I think my body shop guys will get a kick out of that. :)

it's like a 50's Nash all grown up. That'd be a sweet ride..perhaps use the roof metal for the rear cargo pan, keep the ribs in there :)

Nothin you could do in an afternoon with a sawzall, a mig, and some bondo! :D

Looks like a Cherokee that has been sectioned (I think that's the right term... shortened?) in front and behind the rear wheel... the rear wheel well has been changed also?

Must finish the Super Chief... must finish the ChopTop... :banghead:

Looks like they used the front fender wheel well to make the back wheel well...

It started as a 1973 wagoneer. I didn't shorten it, I lengthen the door.
plus alot of little changes. I flared both wheel wells

Minus the chrome Z3 hoops though...

those are Audi TT hoops :D

Man, how do you all do this stuff? I have a copy of Photoshop CS3, but it takes me an hour just to do a color change when I am playing with ideas.. i have no idea how you do all that other swanky stuff and make it look so real.

I attempted to get an idea of what my NT would look like in Rescue Green. I used BEV25's sweet looking rig as a start. I have no idea how you move stuff around in the picture, etc. (forum does not like me tonight...each time I shrink a pic file and try to upload, it tells me it is over size even though under the listed size limits..)

That is a sweet looking concept. My wife even gave it a "wow..can yours look like that?"

THat is some really cool work.
