all my cto's are replaced and hooked up to proper ports. i want to check that they are all getting vacuum. should all the ports be getting vaccum after warmed up. or shoould some close at warm up and not give vaccum? can someone tell what the proper way to test and the proper result of functioning properly? thank you

if you look at the device..... the coolant side at the bottom.... the middle nipple for a 3 nipple CTO is the exit port to the controlled device
so image that the little ball in the CTO will go up when engine warm, the the bottom are then connected, when cold the 2 top one are connected
for example the distributor CTO... distributor is connected to the middle nipple, the top is the manifold vacuum, so you get full advance and fast idle speed when cold..... and the bottom is connected to carb ported vacuum... you get vacuum advance at high rpm... not at idle.... which throw off you timing... see my question early
