Compression for 1979 360 should be a minimum of 120-140 psi and maximum variation between cylinders should be 30 psi.

Hey Burnside, I drove past there today and the cherokee was gone, talked to the guy he said it was sold. I asked him if anyone else looked at it and he said money talks and he needed money.

I would assume he sold it......It isn't there anymore. Sorry dude...but for what it was It doesn't surprise me. I mean a 30,000 miles rust free cherokee chief w/ 360 in it......I am surprised it was there as long as it was....It was there from wed. until well....I am guessing yesterday or early today. Sorry dude...Guess you will have to just fix up one of your current ones instead of selling them. FSJ's aren't made to be sold anyway(believe me...I have been trying to sell my J10 for quite some time now). Craig

nah..i am gonna go looking at Saab Turbo's now ;) see what it does to ya. Can't win em all. I want a better car for MPG anyways... 87 GW still will be for sale, would cost too much for me right now to fix, plus we need the $$. THX Tho, Keep your eyes peered.
