This kid had it for sale for $800, his grandfather had the title, sent it last week, should have it this week, I paid half now and half when the title comes.

It's what I believe is a Brougham, which had a trim piece an inch and a half or two wide of woodgrain rather than the large stick-on woodgrain trim. The trim is all in the back, I believe. The interior is in surprisingly good shape and it drives better than my '74. A/C works too. 136K.

I have a 4" lift sitting beside it and some extra chrome spoke wheels that were on my old Jeep. Bucket seats are worlds more comfortable than the bench in my old one. Wife should like that.

Sorry about the dirty interior. I just drove it home in the dark. Didn't even try and talk the kid down. Needs a windshield, a carb kit and an exhaust leak fixed. Might have it ready for Ouray.

Wow Ken, that's cool!
It is a Brougham for sure. The 74 getting a retired?

No, but I have this cheap Rough Country lift kit that needs a home. Although, after driving the '80 home, it already drives better than my '74 so I may not be driving the ol' orange one much, I don't know. After the lift my wife may warm back up to the '74 after people laugh at her ingress and egress antics with the lifted '80. We'll see. It should be entertaining in Ouray if I can get it ready in time. I might have to find a free mattress somewhere to leave in camp where I can drive up next to it so she can just dive out.

And who are you to ask that question? You have a venerable FSJ museum at your place with multiple runners!

Broughams are my favorite waggy. I don't care much for all that fancy power stuff.
Looks like you got a really nice one!

No, only in the rear...<grin>

I turn 50 this year and I don't want to throw anything out just entering my Jeep. Also there'd be a problem with a host of other costly things I'd have to replace...

That's awesome! BTW just and FYI, a guy by the name of barrys is selling a NOS rally burgundy steering wheel that might be the color that matches your interior...look in the wanted section..

That red interior rules. I love it. I had a blue 82 Brougham but the cloth pattern on the seats was different; more like a grid. Gotta love the plastic wood interior door trim.

Remind me sometime that you have a red interior. I might have some red parts left over from The Black Hole. It had the same red interior.

I could ship them to you and you can get PAID to deliver your own Jeep parts!!!! :D
