1980+ Jeep T18 output stickout?

Ok, my 1980 T18 is a basket case... anyone have one intact that they can measure the rear output shaft stickout from the back of the transfer case adaptor? Does it stick out at all or is it inside the adaptor some?

T18's prior to 1980 will not be the same, so this is just a question for the ones mated to the NP208.

Looks to be between 1/8 and 1/16th of an inch

I think the Ford NP205 input sticks out from the 205 by ~ 1.25 inches so that should give me plenty of spline engagement if I notch/drill my T18 adaptor to mate the GM 205. :)
