Wil somebody close go pull off the shift knob, please?

While you're there, grab the seats and console, and the tilt column, if it has one too.:)

All gone

I've known about this truck since last Saturday, but I didn't have the time to pull anything, so I was praying it would all be intact until today. I got the bucket seats, tilt column, console, dash with A/C, grille, door panels, etc. The Buick 350/TH400/D20 are all there, I'm just not sure about its condition. I hope someone picks up the that drivetrain - The 350 SBB is a wonderful engine.

I was going to grab the front clip, but the fenders and front balance are too rusty (surprise surprise). The doors have some rust but are usable. The truck is a '69 1414X Custom.

I will try to post some pictures on Monday, I don't have the right cable to connect my camera to the PC :(

I had the same feeling, specially knowing I wouldn't be able to come get the stuff for a whole week. That was a long week...

All that stuff is eventually going to go into my J300. I'm really excited about the in-dash A/C

The only 1414X I've ever seen in person was also in a PickNPull in CA several years back:(. It was a '70 and had an SSO tag for it.

Aside from the cheap peeling Schieb paint job, it was a beautiful straight rig with a nice blue interior. Only the steering column and trac-lok were missing by the time we got to it.

Fortunately, they left it there for 2 months, so it got pretty stripped. Interior and drivetrain was all salvaged eventually. I couldn't pass up the front doors, so I got those. They were the best I've ever seen on a Kaiser rig.

I'm actually a big fan of the '73-84? dash, but wouldn't look right in a '63 FSJ. My very first vehicle was a '78 Cherokee Chief...

Oh I like the '73-84 dashes. I meant I'll have to get me a '72-earlier J-truck or Wagoneer:D

Well, my 8th vehicle is a '78 Cherokee Chief. At last

Hello Ken,
I´m not in immediate need... My goal is to get my other projects running before I go into aesthetic things.

What´s the difference between the early and late styles?
Thanks,
Mikel

well the OE type for the SW are fairly thick..maybe 1/2"
while the later AMC version are 1/4 or less thick.
