no charging...

well, i think when i tried to jump the cherokee i fried something.



i have out a new alternator/voltage regulator, respliced the wires that i thought might have come undone, and still no charging.

any clues besides the starter selonoid, maybe? Besides the ampmeter can ya'll think of anything?

i already have the guage cluster out of the cherokee, or could i just run a jumper wire to see if it is the amp meter?

come on gurus, what should i do?

Besides a bad alt/vr, it has to be bad wires or ground? It's not the ammeter, they either burn up (get weak and alt puts out too MUCH) or everything dies and all you get is cranking.
