T-case and Exhaust

While under the rtuck today I Noticed that the Exhaust pipe was lying up along side the transfer case. How much of a problem is this?

No problem at all. Which jeep is it on?

Most had an exhaust pipe mount that was bolted right to the T-Case or crossmember. It will be fine. smile.gif

Hello,

The exhaust is up against the t-case on my J10. I was checking for fuel leaks with the truck idleing when I heard a taping coming from the t-case. Could it wear a hole in my exhaust?

There might actually be a bracket there that the pipe should be clamped to. Supposed to go there. The clamp must be missing if its tapping there.
