WOW! This stuff is GREAT! Just slathered it on the front passenger floorboard and it feels as if it's covered with a thick epoxy or resin. I followed all the steps and used the silver. Now I'm wondering what other applications it might have on the body of my Wag.

For example, I've got minor (but visible) rust damage on the driver's rear wheelwell. I'm wondering if I could use the mesh cloth that they sell to patch over the rust holes, then have the whole thing repainted professionally. Any ideas guys?

I use POR 15 products extensively on vehicles, trailers, etc. and it has never let me down. Just make sure you clean and wash the area well and etch it if it is bare. Also make sure if the
area(s)are exposed to sunlight that you topcoat the POR 15 or it will breakdown. Make sure you give it ample time to cure before topcoating.
Good luck ! You should have no trouble. ;)

One trick on the POR to make it last longer and not thicken to much. Pour what you have into a jug, like and antifreeze container. You can always just remove the cap and pour out what you need with no mess. If you have a fridge in the garage store the POR in there. It will last much longer if stored in a cool place.

That stuff is great. I did a complete frame off and coated my frame and certain hard parts with it. I should have minimal rust in the coming years. I have also used thier metal mask and high temp manifold paint, both of those products are good as well.

Well, I still have a hole in my driver's floorboard. I'm thinking I'll treat all the rusted out steel I can't pull out with the POR 15, then cover the hole with sheet metal. That way I can recarpet with a clear conscience. Only wish I had found the Austin distributor when I was working on the rust in my tailgate's hinge!
