Just wanted to post up in case anybody close by didn't have any plans this weekend. Sungoesdown is coming to help me work on my Chero a bit. All others are welcome to come too. Just post up so I can make sure there's enough food.

If you have a way to get it here, that's what the WOT is all about. Bring it and we'll help with yours too.

Nothing major, just getting an extra hand or two to finish up some things on my Chero so I can start driving it again. It's been sitting on stands since August. Its at my sister's house, so my nephew should be there, he's ~4 (bad uncle, I know). Depending how many people show, I may grill some burgers and hot dogs or something or maybe order pizza so as to not to distract me away from the project at hand.

Oh, and unless you don't mind laying on your back on concrete, bring your own creeper(s). I have NONE.

Bad Uncle, no way man! All my Uncle did was let me hang around his helicopters. Or the US Treasury Depts. helicopters. Well I will be there, I will be bringing just one, my boy he is 4, the girlfriend says she will do something with the girls. Just back channel me.

I will bring "SCHWEETY" but I'm not for sure where to start. I was thinking of taking all the SMOG crap off and redoing the vac lines but Im not for sure if I really want to dive into that right now. I will give other things some thought over the week I guess. Might do the tranny filter but Ill play it by ear. More than likely I will be a wrench hander and tweeker if need be!

have you ever rebuilt a carb? i was thinking of cleaning up my holley truck avenger this weekend. i've had the rebuild kit for over a year now.

Well no I havent. Im not for sure what all that takes. Im not a mechanical guy. I know enough to get real dangerous and I am the king of "IN Theory" it will work this way. Hee Hee. I cant go to crazy on repairs since I traded my WARN 8274 off my CJ to one of my LowCountry Jeep Club buddies for work on "SCHWEETY". That carb rebuild was on the list. Anyway whatever you guys want to do Im a player. Any idea how many folks are headed out there?

Thanks for the offer. But I would be spilling oil all over the road. It's a dipstick oil pan thing.

My new shocks came in yesterday... one more thing that can get accomplished.
Hey guys...I've been out of state. What day are you doing this? I know you listed all three days, but wondering if it's narrowed down at all. I have been away from home, and will be again coming up soon, so I want to spend time with my wife and daughter. I may be able to come over and say hi for a little bit. But anyone who knows me knows I am still pretty useless when it comes to helping out with a Jeep.

You mean if its raining we have to work outside? Oh crap my hair will get wet! As for the beverages, Im good with about anything. I guess 11.00 as I saw in an earlier post? You guys need to tell me where this little party is so Im not driving all over. That would wreck my "Hypermiling" experiement. Also I might be redoing the diff covers since they are leaking. Do you guys kno if they take a gasket or do you just use RTV? Also, does it take 4 bottles of the Purple Crap or 5 for both axles?

You can use RTV or gaskets, either way. I actually have 2 dana 44 gaskets laying around if you need them... don't know what's on your rig... I'll PM you my number for directions.
