It has sat here for about a year collecting leaves

Its time to drag her out, knock off the dirt-dobber nests and start taking her apart

What are you going to be doing with it?
I've got a pair of Dana60's lined up that are welded w/4.56 gears that will find a home under it.

I'm either starting off with a Dana300 or NP205 behind the factory AMCTH400 trans (that I will have rebuilt/beefed). I've got a clean rebuilt D300 lined up,but I'd rather have a 205. But I'm losing patience locating the parts I need for the 205 swap. I want the 6-bolt round pattern 205 and TH400-NP205 round adapter so that I can eventually slide a Klune V between the tranny and T-case and/or upgrade to a Lomax 205 later on.

I'm considering my options for an engine. I will definetly be keeping an AMC motor for a while. At this point it looks like I'm going to have my 360 completely rebuilt with some mild mods, oiling improvements and TBI.

I have a pair of GM 63" springs that will be inboarded under the frame in the rear. Up front I will likely be using 2.5" lift Rancho 44044 springs with a shackle reversal,Ford F-250 shock towers and Rancho RS9000 shocks.

Crossover steering

completely new wiring

an interior cage

stout bumpers and sliders

A repaint to the factory bronze color with some quirks (yes,it will be wheeled, scratched and dented:) )

These are the things I'm working on for the near future
