VIN location on frame

Anybody knows where the VIN is stamped on the frame of an 82 Cherokee?

passenger side, aft of the radiator, on top of the frame also, most likely on top of the rear axle wheel arch on the passenger side I believe....

That is where they are my CJ as well..........

Thanks. I looked quickly using a wire brush and couldn't tell if there was a stamping there, maybe it's under the paint. I'll remove some pait tomorrow.

Don't expect to find the entire VIN. Usually it's just the tail end of the VIN, the sequential serial number part.
