I want to pull off a front U-bolt flip on my 66 truck. I was wondering if it was possible just to get another set U-bolt plates from a similar truck's rear springs and use those in the front with new U-bolts of course. Is this possible and is there anything I should consider before slapping them on? Thanks for the help.

Hellcreek makes plates like the rear to match the front. Aren't CJ springs 2"? maybe those (plates) would work.

CJ front springs are 2" but spring under factory. I got the Hellcreek with their springs. Plates are curved up on ends and come with correct length U bolts.

I have ordered some Hell Creek springs from BJ's, just waiting for them to get some in stock. I was just curious, I saw the plates on Hell Creek's website but I didn't know it came with U bolts. That is a good deal for $60 if you get two plates and four U bolts.

I have a lot of time to think about stuff while I wait on my lift!
