are they a direct replacement for chevy 3/4 ton calipers?can i just bolt them right up to the rear disc mounts on my 14 bolt?
ive got no ebrake at the moment and for some reason my newly rebuilt trans(t 400)is not holding in park and is making a ratcheting noise trying to hold on a hill.

these are on ebay(i hope this pic works) http://ebay0.ipixmedia.com/abc/M28/_EBAY_c3a3ae93fe652f7cb40719f9aa3d485a/i-1.JPG

I have a solution for your tranny not going into park, Mine does that often. There is a linkage rod running from where the column drops beneath the vehicle to the side of the tranny. Theres bushings around that those could be gone or your linkage rod could be bent. If it is its only $15 at your local jeep dealer if they can find some.

thanks WagoneerMan

its a chevy t 400 just rebuilt by the best around here but he was recently killed in a motorcycle accident.now im kinda stuck with a problem.

i use a b+m mega shifter to shift it and i know its engaging all the way.ive even removed the shift cable and made sure it is all the way engaged in park but it still moves with a ratcheting sound on an incline.

if you drop the pan and look at the shifter shaft inside the trans you will se the park rod that runs to the rear of the trans and the shifter shaft running through it the problem is that the nut that holds the park pawl rod on the shifter shaft is one of 2 things 1 loose 2 the rod bkt is not centered on the shaft also a 3 thing could be happening on the other end (rear ) the spring is broken or the plunger at the spring is hanging up on the shaft (bent) you can undo the nut on the shifter shaft and slide it out to drop the park rod out there is a nail holding the shaft in the case you will see it when yot drop the pan

3/4T calipers?? F or R ?!?
who makes ur cali mounts?

the calipers pictured are from the rear of the 79-85 eldorados, the same type i have on my rear d44. but they are smaller than calipers used on front axles.

if there is still time left on the ebay, ask the seller to measure the mounting hole distance and compare that to ur brackets.

well if ur kit uses front calis, then those are not the ones as they are for the rear of mid size cars.

does the kit have any recomendation as to calis to use?

what is the thickness of ur rotors and the distance between the mounting holes on ur mounts?
