Does anyone know if the 84 GW has a buzzer that goes off when you leave your lights on and open the door with the ignition off? If so where is it and if not has anybody put one on? I know it only a matter of time before I leave my lights on. Thanks in advance, Matt

I know my 79 Cherokees have them so I would think an 84 GW would have one...the buzzing has saved my battery a few times...I think the buzzer is attached to the fuse block ??...just my 02¢

The buzzer is the large blue box that plugs into the fuse panel.

I'm looking for one of these blue boxes for my 90 GW. The PO must have removed it.

I once installed one on an old '83 Buick, this after my second jump 'cause I forgot the lights (again). I think I remember buying it at K-mart,of all places. I also remember it was relatively cheap and easy to install, and yes, just connects to the fuse box. Darn thing saved me countless times!

My 81 has it, but it's awful quiet. If it's windy outside I won't hear it. I've often wondered if there is a way to replace it with a louder buzzer.

Anyone have any ideas?

My '89 does. If you have the key in the right spot it even works. More of a constant Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
