I NEED to learn how to weld. That looks great to me!
Cute pup too! :fsj:
Once had an 81 J10 that color. It was rotted out all through the floor. The lift looks good too!

Looks good. I'm waiting on my floorboards to come in. Just ordered them a couple of days ago.

Hmmmm...I'm starting to feel inspired. Was the plywood used as a template?
I have to go to WalMart later to get some tapes. I decided I am going to make a documentary/pictorial set to music when I start work.

the wood was what i put in when i got it and discovered the missing floor i still wanted to drive my toy around so i put wood down and in an attempt to make them not so noticable i color matched them. The boards didnt match as much as i had pictured in my head there are quite a few gaps where you can see the ground but as a friend pointed out I need to think of them as free extra drain plugs. maybe it will lengthen the lives of the new boards because water can't has nowhere to collect

Not bad, next what you need to keep moisture out of those weld seams is something called brushable seam filler, or the caulk style seam filler..
You can come do mine now...:D

that actually isn't a bad idea.. also when i was doing the drivers side i got the bright idea to treat all the metal and the body's frame and coat it with bed liner i wish i had thought of that before i put int hte passengers side
