i have been toying with the idea for a while about having a unique pinstripe added to the wag once its resprayed, & whilst i have seen the double stripe vinyl that wagonmaster use, i dont consider it to be much chop, however i do like the way it runs along the bonnet.

but then i saw this chero with what looks to be the real hand-done deal on the back pillar - i had always thought of doing something there on the wag, although the space is much smaller (oh, i dont rate the tailgate....).

anyway, has anybody seen or got other pics of some pinstriping they've seen on our special trucks? (not pimp my ride either....) - i have always liked the decals etc used on all of the earlier amc jeeps - honchos, renegades etc - they really lend themselves to some unique designs imo.

Don't do it

original is the way to go and the way to stay

Pinstriping is not cool or classic it's ethnic if you get my drift

I don't agree at all. Pinstriping is a pretty cool art form and it definitely is NOT an ethnic thing. I was going to have my flat black Harley pinstriped, and have seen tons of different designs. Haven't seen any wags done like that, so I say go for it!!!

all i can say is it is a form of art, if you dont believe me, try doing it yourself. it takes a special person to be able to freehand that stuff.

i agree completely, & thats why i thought a *small* personal touch on the rear pillar would be a nice way to go.
