'78 wagoneer won't start by the key. If you jump the solenoid it starts. Thought it was the ignition switch so I changed it. Same thing. Voltage at solenoid on start wire 6.5 volts. Voltage at neutral safety switch 6.5 volts. Voltage at feedwire to ignition switch 6.5 volts. I see in the wiring diagram a 6 wire splice I think its splice 'b'. Where is this splice? I can't find it.

I wired in separate feed wire to ignition switch for now.

Other things associated with this splice ie rear window, head lights, .... don't work at full voltage until the car starts. Where is this splice? :mad: :confused:

Mike, I don't think it's actually a splice. I think it is referring to the fuse block distribution. I may be wrong on that, but I'd check the back side of the block for severe corrosion and look within 4 inches or so of the fuse block for the splice.
