I found a t18 with the 6.32 first gear that i am looking at buying, but i need to know if i will need different driveshafts going from a t15 originally. Also, what is a fair price for a good used t18\d20 combo. Thanks

I typically find t18/d20's for 400-600 and up depending on condition. Most d20's can be bought alone for 75-150 with 75 being fairly common.

I believe you will need different shafts."longer front shorter rear unless the lengths are very close" If you need a measurement from the t18 case I believe it's 13.5 inches long.. but I'd have to look when I get home to be positive. I have one that I'm changing the input shaft out and rebuilding to fit in my CJ..

I got the trans/pto/buickbellhousing/d20 and drive line brake for 415 off ebay.. but thats just about unheard of.. I lived 50 minutes away so wasn't worried about shipping.. got a fair deal on it.

good luck!
