Wonder how he built that thing...if you read the notes on the vid he said the M715 did a 50 foot burn at the start and then almost caught the Yota...

I believe he has a built 460.

A stock M715 would probably do a 28 second quarter mile... At 45 MPH

you can hear the tires spinning as he comes off the line all the way through the launch pad.

Hello,
You have good memory! I decided to use a Cummins engine instead... 4 years ago :)

haha, man something that big looks funny moving that fast

I watched a local guy run a 94 6.2L diesel dually chevy in the 1/8th, it has a 29 or somethign insanely long like that. I am pretty sure it was a 29 though.

Holy crap! The yota ran a 15.6 so the 715 probably ran around 16 flat. That's bookin' for something that big! Especially with those 40" tires. That guy deserves a big !

So, how would a GT Rustang or Z28 owner feel if his got his clock cleaned from a 5/4 ton Jeep truck rolling on 40's?
I think that would be humiliating! I love it!

Maybe a v6... stock GT's and Z28's are quite a bit faster than that. But he's got them beat with the coolness factor. :fsj:

Yes, I know....but I would love, just once, in a FSJ to blow the doors off of a go-fast car!

That's easy, all you have to do is pick the right track. Which door would you like?

If my brother wouldn't have forgotten the camera last weekend I'd have some video for you. Some kid in an '03 Mustang GT (stick) thought he had an easy race so he was revving and showing off in the stagine lanes. I idled up, didn't do a burnout, and proceded to wipe the track with his Rustang. He must have driven straight home after that because I wasn't able to find him to rub it in. ;)
