Hey I just put a 3 in body lift on my 83 wag ltd. Last night I was cruising some muddy back roads an d went to shift into 4 lo and it was in a bind. I cant get the lever to pull up. I hadn't seen anyone mentioning anything bout checking the 4wd before or after the lift. Is this normal--what could it be? Thanks guys

a body lift will change the location and geometry of a shift lever. a suspension lift raises the whole body so the distance between the x-fer case and the cab is unchanged. I would be tthe your bind is in the linkage. most people who add a 3" body lift need to re-work their linkage a bit.
