need a rear driveshaft now....will front only work?

the people at the tranny shop told me that the shaft needs to be longer(or shorter, forgot) to be used with my NEW 219 has anyone had this problem and woudl it be ok if i drove on the front ONLY for about a day to move the jeep? i know its not as strong as the rear and that i need to rebuild my front but would that be ok?

If you are running a full time case, make sure that you have it in either 4high LOCK, or 4low, whichever acts as a part time case for you. Driving on the front is ok in part time, just not full time, the full time x-cases have a differential that sends power where you need it. Without a rear shaft it will think it needs to send power there and things will end up broken.
