Rescue # II

Some of you may remember a post about a month ago where my wife drove my FSJ out to pull a friend of mine out of a mud hole, well this is part 2. Since then I helped put a 3in lift on his Range Rover and he put 31in mud tires on it. Brought it out on the trail and into the first mud hole he go's-result- on the phone to me asking for another rescue while water is coming in through his doors. I forgot to grab the camera again. I told him this never happened in his CJ but he has convinced himself that Range Rover the way to go.:confused: Took about 20 mins to drain the water out. What will it take to bring him back to the dark side of jeeps???:thumbsup:

I had an 88 when Rover introduced them in USA in 87.

Heavy flexy tank, it was good for going fast down rough roads and was better about staying in shop.

Had a series II after that and it was noisier and squeakier inside than my old 73 Bronco.

Neither had any Rover had any power.
