4 w drive selector

Does anyone know how to remove the 4wd slector knob located in the glove box? I'm afraid if I keep pulling on it I will break it.

Small allen wrench. Insert into small screw on knob and twist counterclockwise until loose. Small screw is on the bottom of the knob.

You can also change the way it's setup instead of being on the glove box(My glove box was torn very bad and the selector was loose)you can put it underneath the cigar lighter swap it with a newer selector(fits just right even the holes are already in place)instead of the selector knob you can have a selector switch way easier and far more reachable than the one on the glove box.by the way I exchanged mine with a newer one took it out of a newer Grand Wagoneer and fitted as described the bolts fit just right and the hoses are much better.
